Here is Drexel's first email. He has a very compact laptop and doesn't have a lot of time to blog or even email, so I am posting his emails for all to see on this blog, his blog, I am only transferring the information. As much as it kills me, I won't be correcting his spelling or grammar (as he told me once, "You and I aren't goin' to get along very well if you keep correcting my grammar.") HAHAHAHA. TODAY IS THE 1st day of the rest of our lives
This is Start day aug 20th. Tony Hutchinson one of my best friends since grade school has driven me 2100 miles in two days through some of the most beautiful country I have only seen from an air plane. That is why I chose this route over the San Fran to NJ route!!! I cant wait to see it from my bicycle!! We have the last 60 miles to drive this AM and I will put my back wheel in the Pacific Ocean (Anacortes WA) and start my 4000 mile journey across the US with a single pedal stroke.( End Bar Harbor Maine) !!! I will if I have time tonight atempt to start a blog if not I will just CC everyone LMK if I have forgot any one and send me the emil address..
If you are the praying type please say a prayer for my safe return home to my family appx 6 weeks from now (goal be home by my 43rd bday Oct 15) and the safe return home for my friend Tony Hutchison to his beautiful family. We have laughed soooo much in the last few days catching up on old times and boy did we have lots of crazy and fun memories of our life before kids and family We called lots of friends including our partner in crime the one the only Mr. Randy Beane every one has heard the stories of ME AND BEANE!!!! Bruce Brown is writting a book about my crazy and fun filled life and every story is a chapter ie… pigs don’t sweet. Carney code doobie Dans fart filters and others Bruce cant believe I have lived to be 43 LOL ….
If you are not the prayer saying type rub the belley of Buda cut of the chickens head hey its the thought that counts. WE called the only guy that I new that would have if I gave him a few (weeks) LOL to learn how to ride a bicycle LOL. He would have stoped his life and went in a heart beat his name is Rob McElmury He has lived life and I always loved his out look on life I once thought he was crazy for some of the things he would do!!! wake up one day in MO the next in CA the next in IN the next in NY. He loves to camp and live life a little different !!!I once was hung up in the MONEY game and didn’t take time to enjoy the simple things that Was out here for us to enjoy

#2 If it don’t have a direct impact on my life my familys life or my friends life I don’t want to hear about it no TV no news no Obama no Mccain hey if they start bombing to close to the northern states I will hear the blast!!! and dawn my gas mask and keep ridding.

PS I owe a lot to my friends at CYCLES UNLIMITED the are the bomb Ashlee and his crew built my bike pacvked my bags Ashlee took me shopping for camping clothes Remember i was going to do this next spring and changed my mind to do it now he did all of it in 10 days!!! IF you need a bike and you do!!!! call him at cycles unlimited nicest group of bike guys you will ever meet and they love to ride
